Taekwondo provides an excellent foundation for motor skill development, hand eye co-ordination, flexibility, discipline, mental focus and confidence. All of these elements have proven to be an integral part of a child’s growth, development and sustainment towards a mentally and physically rewarding lifestyle. Introduction and engagement to the sporting aspect of Taekwondo is provided at this level, with opportunities to participate at local level competition.

Etiquette, discipline and focus are areas of concentration with youths & teens, and are the core to developing and maintaining a positive disposition when outside of the training facility. Taekwondo utilizes core strength, which is a key component in maintaining a healthy body weight. Dynamic stretching and core stabilization techniques, complimented with advanced self defences skills are the primary benefits that adults & seniors look to achieve while training. Taekwondo at the adult and senior level can be conducted through low impact exercises that utilize core muscle groups that promote increased flexibility and lean muscle tissue development.
Overall Taekwondo pursues harmonious growth and improvements of life through its unique activities. This is why one could say Taekwondo is a way of life.
